Richard Lawrence started printing at school in the 1970s. After a 25 year career in science publishing he now teaches letterpress printing at the Bodleian Library in Oxford, St Bride Foundation in London and in his own workshop. He was a member of BAS between 2000 and 2010. His workshop in Oxford is shared with four other artists and is partly modelled on BAS.
